What is a TBI?

Smoking cigarettes and injuries to the head and the resulting negative effects of these activities on health seem obvious. So, the only tangible prevention measure for a TBI, like cigarettes, would be to quit playing contact sports or not joining the military. As Americans, we obviously aren’t going to do that. Much like any other human in the world, life afflictions like TBIs can happen to us in nearly anything we do, which makes it difficult for us to be safe in everything we do.
